Seaman came into Saturday's matchup looking for another win against Maize, but Tinley Travis wouldn't allow it. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 win over the Vikings on Saturday for which the team can thank Travis, who had 13 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Maize never let Seaman on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-14.

The victory was the third in a row for Maize, bringing their record up to 16-17. As for Seaman, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-23.

Maize wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Emporia on the 18th. As for Seaman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lawrence on the 18th.
