Maddie Costa put in work while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
