Danville has gone 10-0 against Frankfort recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Danville Warriors will square off against the Frankfort Hot Dogs at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Danville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.
Last Friday, Danville came up short against Tri-West Hendricks and fell 72-63. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (62), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Cameron Mcmahon, who went 9 of 15 on his way to 23 points and five boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Steven Webb, who went 8 for 15 en route to 17 points and five rebounds.
Even though they lost, Danville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Frankfort was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 50-49 to Crawfordsville. While the Hot Dogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Athenians 19-11 in the first quarter.
Danville will have to keep a close watch on RJ Cornman and Lucas Waggoner, a pair of players who had a big impact on Frankfort's prior game. Cornman went 7 of 13 on his way to 15 points in addition to eight boards and three steals, while Waggoner posted 13 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Beardsley, who put up two points and nine boards.
Frankfort dropped their record down to 2-15 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Danville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Danville has been crashing the rebounds this season, having averaged 30.9 boards per game. However, it's not like Frankfort struggles in that department as they've been averaging 23.8 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Danville strolled past Frankfort when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 67-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for Danville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
