After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Duchesne, Millard was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Water Canyon Wildcats a 23-0 shutout. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.
Macie Wade made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Wade was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
