The Kimball Knights lost against the Sunset Bison back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Kimball took a 47-29 bruising from Sunset. Kimball has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Among those leading the charge was Yanet Lemus, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season.
Kimball's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Sunset, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season.
Kimball will head out on the road to face off against Hillcrest at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillcrest is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games. As for Sunset, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against White at 7:30 p.m. White is looking to tack on another W to their ten-game streak on the road.
