Gavin Stambaugh Dazzles in Smoky Valley Win
Starting off the list is Smoky Valley's Gavin Stambaugh, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Stambaugh rushed for 225 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry.
Nickerson had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Stambaugh it was a similar story. Stambaugh rushed for 159 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.4 yards per carry the last time he and the Panthers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Big Game from Wilson As Pratt Won 36-7
Taye Wilson posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 188 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.
Pratt's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Wilson and Pratt will head out to face off against Cheney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Wray Made His Presence Known in Haven's 42-7 Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Nash Wray stepped things up a notch to give Haven the 'W'. Chaparral had no answer to Wray as he threw for 136 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes, and also rushed for 64 yards on only seven carries. Wray didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made four total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
Haven pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Wray and Haven will face off against Kingman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Hesston Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Karter Gonzalez
Karter Gonzalez was instrumental in extending Hesston's winning streak to seven on Friday. Gonzalez wasn't messing around, rushing for 128 yards and two touchdowns. The matchup was his fifth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns dating back to last season.
Hesston pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Gonzalez and Hesston will welcome Andale on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Joey Millspaugh Leads Halstead over Southeast of Saline
Halstead came up short on Friday despite Joey Millspaugh delivering his best game to date. Millspaugh rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also picked up 48 receiving yards.
This season, Millspaugh has averaged 18.6 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 32.71 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 78 rushing yards.
