The Indio Rajahs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Desert Mirage 98-17 at home. Indio might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four matches by 28 points or more this season.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Desert Mirage struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Indio has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Desert Mirage, they bumped their record down to 1-7 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Indio will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Desert Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on December 27th. Desert Mirage will be home for the holidays to greet Holtville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
