Red River are packing up and heading on the road for their first away contest this season. They face off against Fargo North on Friday at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close match.
Red River took a serious blow against Fargo Davies last Friday, falling 6-41. Red River were down by 6-34 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Fargo North, but their most recent game may have softened the blow. They managed a somewhat close 26-22 win over West Fargo. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Fargo North as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Fargo North's win lifted them to 2-4 while Red River's loss dropped them down to 3-3. We'll find out if Fargo North can add another positive mark to their record or if Red River can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Fargo North's step.
