The Sunset Apollos's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They claimed a resounding 62-35 victory over Century on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Sunset, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
When it comes to explaining why Century lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kami Carmean. Despite the final result, she scored 19 points.
Sunset now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Century, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sunset will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Wilsonville at 7:15 p.m. on December 12th. Hopefully Wilsonville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Saturday. As for Century, they will head out on the road to face off against Hillsboro at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
