The Milton Academy Mustangs will venture away from home to square off against the St. Mark's Lions at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Milton Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.

Milton Academy is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 14 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Noble & Greenough on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-2.

Sophie Crowley was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Sadie Patel, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Meanwhile, St. Mark's was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lawrence Academy. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Lions couldn't push the score so high this time.

St. Mark's saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kiera Finno, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Milton Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for St. Mark's, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Milton Academy beat St. Mark's 6-3 in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
