The Northview Knights won the last time they faced the Robinson Maroons, and things went their way on Monday too. Northview walked away with a 58-49 win over Robinson. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Northview has managed all season.
Leading Northview to victory were Joshua Fowler and Brayden Goff. Fowler scored 13 points, while Goff scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. The match was Goff's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Christian Bryan was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Northview's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Robinson, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Northview will head out on the road to face off against Greencastle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Greencastle focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven last Friday. Robinson won't have much time to rest: their next game is against St. Anthony at 7:00 p.m. on January 2nd. St. Anthony is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
