Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lamar). They walked away with a 61-48 win over the Frontenac Raiders on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Lamar's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Frontenac, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lamar Tigers duke it out with the Neosho Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. After both having extra time off, Frontenac and Fort Scott will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another on January 7, 2025.
