Guthrie was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Kingfisher on Thursday. The Bluejays put the hurt on the Yellowjackets with a sharp 13-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Bluejays, who have now won 12 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Guthrie's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-8. As for Kingfisher, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Guthrie will square off against Ponca City at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kingfisher, they will challenge Perkins-Tryon at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
