Brookville put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 55-3 victory over Miami East. With Brookville ahead 42-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Preble Shawnee fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 28-17 victory over Milton-Union on Friday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Preble Shawnee to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brody Morton, who rushed for 32 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown. Isaac Blankenship was another key contributor, gaining 161 total yards and a touchdown.
Brookville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Preble Shawnee, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-3.
