Burns have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on Hot Springs County at 7:00 PM. Burns will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
Burns simply couldn't be stopped last Friday, as they easily beat Newcastle 54-8. The success made it back-to-back wins for Burns.
Meanwhile, if Hot Springs County were riding high off their 66-0 takedown of Newcastle two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Hot Springs County have to be aching after a bruising 18-42 loss to Glenrock. Hot Springs County were down by 6-42 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Burns's victory lifted them to 4-3 while Hot Springs County's defeat dropped them down to 2-5. We'll find out if Burns can add another positive mark to their record or if Hot Springs County can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Burns's step.
