Ike Redder was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.
In other batting news, Mack Haynes and Benny Redder did most of the damage at the plate: Haynes went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Benny went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Those three hits gave Redder a new career-high.
Twin Falls' win bumped their record up to 23-4. As for Burley, their victory bumped their record up to 16-6.
Friday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Twin Falls has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .507. However, it's not like Burley struggles in that department as they've averaged .494. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
