The Southwestern Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They claimed a resounding  80-48 victory over Male on the road. With that  win, Southwestern brought their scoring average up to 51.2  points per game.
 Southwestern can attribute much of their success to  Kinsley Molden, who  scored 24 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which  Molden has scored at least 25% of Southwestern's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Payton  Acey, who  scored 12 points along with seven  rebounds.
 The  win  got Southwestern back to even at 4-4. As for Male, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-5.
 Southwestern won't have much time to rest: their next  matchup is against Conner at 12:30  p.m.  on December 23rd. Conner is coming into the  match on a four-game losing streak. Male will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mercy at 7:00  p.m.  on January 4, 2024.
