Trinity Christian had won two straight games and Madison Bennett did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 64-40 margin over the Callaway Cavaliers for which the team can thank Bennett, who went 10-for-14 to rack up 24 points and six assists. The game was her fifth in a row with at least 18 points.

Another player making a difference was Avari Cannon, who posted 15 points and seven boards. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Trinity Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Trinity Christian will take on Upson-Lee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Callaway, they will challenge Greenville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots' defense has only allowed 17.2 points per game this season, so the Cavaliers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
