Jack Palumbo and Leighton Antonio provided fans with a highlight when they connected against GlenOak. The longest such play in Northeast Ohio - River this season, the connection resulted in 87 yards.
Hudson was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping the Golden Eagles. The Explorers came in at 19 in the state poll after placing at number 44 last week.
North Royalton's dynamic duo of Travis Tarnowski and Nick Krempasky proved tough for South to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Tarnowski threw for 362 yards and four touchdowns and Krempasky had 192 yards receiving. Carl Lint helped North Royalton's passing attack out by catching seven balls for 114 yards.
Ben Gedeon was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 104 yards on 18 carries as Hudson beat the Rebels. Teammate Jared Ruffing added to the ground attack by rushing for 27 yards.
North Royalton's Tarnowski and Krempasky have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Tarnowski has thrown for 2765 yards this season, while Krempasky, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 48 catches for 882 yards. Gedeon from Ron Wright's team leads the league in rushing with 1003 yards.
Accruing a total of 19 touchdowns this year, Hunter Parsh has thrown for 1999 yards with 10 interceptions.
In 166 carries Jordan Connell has accumulated 904 yard this year.
Nick Ciulli's team moved up to 23 from 52 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Northeast Ohio - River. The Bears were able to make move up by beating South 38-35.
