They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Horton 69-18 at home. Given Pleasant Ridge's advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th, while Horton is ranked 248th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Isabela Major continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with three steals. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for her. Ava Potter was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy didn't have too much trouble with Oskaloosa on the road on Friday as they won 49-31.

Pleasant Ridge beat Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy 36-26 when the teams last played back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pleasant Ridge since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
