The Abundant Life Christian Academy Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a serious blow against BridgePrep Village Green, falling 81-41.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Keston White Marin, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. Those six rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Young, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Abundant Life Christian Academy bumped their record down to 3-7 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for BridgePrep Village Green, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.
Abundant Life Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024. As for BridgePrep Village Green, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Archimedean at 7:00 p.m. on January 10, 2024. Archimedean is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
