Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Adalbert Allotey and Ty Duncan Lead University Christian to Victory

University Christian won the last time they faced North Florida Educational Institute and things went their way on Thursday too. The University Christian Christians strolled past the North Florida Educational Institute Fighting Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 67-50. Given the Christians' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Fighting Eagles are ranked 414th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

University Christian was led to victory by Ty Duncan and Adalbert Allotey. Duncan went 8 of 18 en route to 26 points, while Allotey almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards. Allotey is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 13 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Marvin Christie, who posted nine points in addition to six boards and three steals.

University Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in 16 consecutive matches.

University Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game.
