The Ponitz Career Tech Golden Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 65-45 loss at the hands of South. Ponitz Career Tech lost against South in their previous head to head back in January of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 62-42 score last time.
South got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Chris Stokes out in front who scored 16 points. Lajames Washington was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Ponitz Career Tech's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for South, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Ponitz Career Tech will head out on the road to face off against Thurgood Marshall at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South, they will be playing at home against Eastmoor Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
