Keystone Heights' rough 74-54 loss to Fort White on Tuesday might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Keystone Heights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 300th, while Fort White is ranked 27th).
Keystone Heights' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andru Seimur, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Michael Bruzzese, who scored 13 points.
Keystone Heights now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Fort White, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Keystone Heights will look to defend their home court on Friday against Palatka at 7:30 p.m. Palatka has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Fort White won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Newberry at 7:30 p.m. on December 6th. Newberry will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
