A Season-Best Effort from Bryson Brown Leads Milton over West Florida
Milton came up short on Friday despite Bryson Brown delivering his best game to date. Brown picked up 184 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 72 yards.
Milton is on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8. Brown and Milton will look to defend their home field on Friday against Niceville at 7:30 p.m.

Johnny Lewis Jr Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Niceville was led to victory by Johnny Lewis Jr, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Lewis Jr rushed for 197 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Niceville's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Lewis Jr and Niceville will challenge Milton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Mosley Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to Sammy Freitas
Sammy Freitas's big game helped extend Mosley's winning streak to eight on Friday. Freitas turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 170 yards and three touchdowns while completing 92.3% of his passes.
Arnold's probably not too fond of Freitas given he always seems to get the better of them. Freitas threw for 139 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 6-for-6 passing, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground the last time he and the Marlins duked it out back in September of 2023.
