The biggest upset of the week belonged to Webb, who took down 269th ranked Northern Vance, 40-12.
Cardinal Gibbons extended the longest winning streak in 3A Carolina this week by beating Orange, 28-21. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Crusaders.
Cardinal Gibbons' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Shawn Stankavage threw for 188 and two touchdowns and Danny Rosenblum had 59 yards receiving. On the ground Stankavage chipped in 76 yards. Trevor Zaruba helped Cardinal Gibbons' passing attack out by catching four balls for 47 yards.
6-foot-2 quarterback Stankavage of Steven Wright's team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1518. He has also thrown 22 touchdowns. On the ground, the Warriors' Tobiah Lewis has rushed for 815 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Dashawn Skipwith. The Webb star has 20 catches for 467 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Chapel Hill takes on the Panthers. At the moment, the Tigers are in second, while Orange is in third.
Webb took down the Vikings 40-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
