There's no place like home for the Harriman Blue Devils, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 39-38 photo finish over Unaka.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harriman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ansley Moore, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lexi Rose, who scored 11 points.
Unaka's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Katlyn Dugger, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds. Dugger continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauren Lund, who scored nine points.
Harriman's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8. As for Unaka, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
