DeWitt never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past the Drew Central Pirates 10-0. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by eight runs or more this season.

DeWitt is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Drew Central, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DeWitt will head out to take on Palestine-Wheatley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Dragons 3.4, the Patriots 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Drew Central, they will head out on the road to challenge Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
