It was a good run, but the Kenwood Knights unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 54-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dickson County. Kenwood was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Dickson County apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played last Saturday.
Despite the loss, Kenwood still got an impressive performance from Cam?ron Dowell, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. It was the first time this season that Dowell pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Davon Martin, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Kenwood's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-9. As for Dickson County, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Kenwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-53 victory vs. Kirkwood on the 9th. Dickson County has also already played their next match, a 64-56 defeat against West Creek on the 8th.
