Volleyball Recap: Chattahoochee Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Isabella Podesta and Kennadi Peterson

Chattahoochee's tournament run continued when they took on Washburn on Saturday. The Cougars fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 2-1.

Despite the loss, Chattahoochee had strong showings from Kennadi Peterson, who had 18 digs and four assists, and Isabella Podesta, who had 13 assists and five digs. With that strong performance, Peterson is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game. Ana Behrmann also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Chattahoochee's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Washburn, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Chattahoochee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Henry Clay on the 13th. As for Washburn, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Middlesboro on the 13th.
