Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Loyola Blakefield to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jesse Legree, who scored 21 points. Mason Ellison was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
Loyola Blakefield's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 16-9. As for Gilman, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Loyola Blakefield will face off against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gilman, they will head out on the road to challenge the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
