Anderson posted their biggest win yet this season on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 64-24 victory over Taylor on the road.
Meanwhile, Carlson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 50-45 to Roosevelt. Carlson has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Joshua Anderson, who scored 14 points. Jackson Zachary was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with ten rebounds.
The victory got Anderson back to even at 6-6. As for Carlson, they bumped their record down to 3-9 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Anderson didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Carlson in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 38-34 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Carlson's Brendan Stanley, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
