While Broadwater Academy put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Hampton Christian Academy. The Vikings were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Warriors. Considering the Vikings have won 14 matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Elana Hickman was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrianna Holloway, who went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Broadwater Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .650. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The win was the sixth in a row for Broadwater Academy, bringing their record up to 16-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Hampton Christian Academy, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-7.

Broadwater Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-0 win against Arcadia on the 2nd. As for Hampton Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-6 defeat against Peninsula Catholic on the 2nd.
