There's no place like home for the Wadley Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 60-45 victory over Donoho on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Wadley, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Wadley found their leader in underclassman Jaquez Wilkes, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds. Wilkes set a new season high mark in steals with six. The team also got some help courtesy of Frisco Robertson, who scored 18 points.
Wadley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Donoho, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wadley will challenge Loachapoka at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Donoho, they will head out on the road to face off against Saks at 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
