The Hercules Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Pinole Valley Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hercules is hoping to put an end to a ten-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Hercules fell victim to Salesian College Preparatory's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were dealt a 38-0 loss at the hands of the Pride. While losing is never fun, Hercules can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 972nd, while Salesian College Preparatory is ranked 360th).
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Pinole Valley, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 22-7 loss to Bethel on Friday.
Maddox Wu put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries.
The losses dropped Hercules to 1-7 and Pinole Valley to 3-6.
