Donegal has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against The Eastern Lebanon County Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
Donegal fell victim to Cocalico's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were dealt a 37-0 defeat at the hands of the Eagles. While losing is never fun, Donegal can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 338th, while Cocalico is ranked 25th).
Meanwhile, Eastern Lebanon County also never made a goal in their most recent game. They had to suffer through a rough 49-0 loss at the hands of Lampeter-Strasburg.
The losses dropped Donegal to 2-6 and Eastern Lebanon County to 5-4.
Donegal barely slipped by Eastern Lebanon County in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, winning 20-19. The rematch might be a little tougher for Donegal since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
