The Ribault Trojans''s four-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They walked away with a 18-7 victory over Baldwin. For Ribault, this counts as revenge for the 23-16 loss Baldwin walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Ribault found their leader in underclassman Timothy Cole, who threw for 167 yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Jahrod Shaw, who picked up 80 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Despite the defeat, Baldwin saw an underclassman step up: Neshawn Jacobs rushed for 147 yards and a touchdown. Jacobs hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for three straight games.
Ribault's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Baldwin, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ribault will take on Riverside at 6:30 p.m. on November 3rd. Riverside is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Baldwin, they will be playing at home against ED White at 6:30 p.m. on November 3rd.
