Abilene had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They blew past the Riley County Falcons 14-7. Considering the Cowboys have won six matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Abilene pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Riley County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Abilene will face off against Buhler at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Riley County, they will take on Sabetha on Thursday.
