The Oasis Christian Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Cristo Rey Tampa 47-11 on the road. The team accrued 35 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oasis Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Karsyn Roberts, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Roberts continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Raileigh Moates, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
The victory was the third in a row for Oasis Christian, bringing their record for this year to 7-15. As for Cristo Rey Tampa, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.
Oasis Christian will be playing at home against First Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. First Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Cristo Rey Tampa, they will head out on the road to face off against Cambridge Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
