Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Breckenridge). They enjoyed a cozy 60-43 win over the Merrill Vandals on Thursday. This was payback for the Huskies, who suffered a 54-49 loss the last time these two teams met.

Breckenridge's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Merrill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Breckenridge will challenge Ashley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Breckenridge is facing Ashley at the right time seeing as Ashley is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Merrill, they will take on Lakeview at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Merrill will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Lakeview will have lost four straight heading into Monday's match.
