 Meadow Sanborn made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out eight over 4.1 innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run and three  RBI. Those  two  hits gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Emily Sakys, who  went 3-for-5 with one  home run, six  RBI,  and three  runs. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in April.  Emery Curtis was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.
 West Linn  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .622. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nelson only posted  an  OBP of  .240.
West Linn has  been performing  well recently as they've  won 14 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Nelson, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-13 record  this season.
As of now, neither West Linn nor Nelson have any future games scheduled.
