Midd-West is 0-6 against Lewisburg since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Saturday. The Midd-West Mustangs will head out on the road to  take on  the Lewisburg Green Dragons at 7:30  p.m. Midd-West is coming into the  match on a four-game losing streak.
 Midd-West pushed their score all the way to 55 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell  66-55 to Montoursville. Midd-West has not had much luck with Montoursville recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
 Despite the  defeat, Midd-West had strong showings from  Noah Romig, who  scored 24 points along with six  rebounds and five  assists, and  Garrett Leitzel, who  scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Leitzel has scored all season.  Brandon Ferster was another key contributor,  scoring three points along with eight  rebounds and two  steals.
 Meanwhile, Lewisburg didn't have too much trouble with Hughesville on the road   on Monday as they won  64-46. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Lewisburg.
 Midd-West's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Lewisburg, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
 Midd-West was taken down by Lewisburg 61-34 when the teams last played  back in January of 2023. Can Midd-West avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
