Cary has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on The Middle Creek Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cary will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 300th, while Middle Creek is ranked 96th).
Cary fell victim to Panther Creek's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were outmatched by the Catamounts at home and fell 34-0.
Meanwhile, Middle Creek unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 30-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of Apex Friendship.
The losses dropped Cary to 1-8 and Middle Creek to 5-4.
Cary couldn't quite finish off Middle Creek when the teams last played back in October of 2022 and fell 44-41. Can Cary avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
