 St. Laurence pushed their record up to 20-5 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Shepard, their victory bumped their record up to 26-6.
 Shepard couldn't quite get it done against St. Laurence when the teams last played  back in April of 2023 as they fell  4-0. Can the Astros avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
