The De Leon Bearcats will be playing at home against the Poolville Monarchs at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in De Leon's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Poolville has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
De Leon posted their biggest win yet this season last Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 59-16 win over Ranger at home. The victory was just what De Leon needed coming off of a 62-35 loss in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Poolville came up short against Ranger on Friday and fell 39-29.
De Leon is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season. As for Poolville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
De Leon came out on top in a nail-biter against Poolville in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, sneaking past 44-42. Will De Leon repeat their success, or does Poolville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
