The Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons lost against the Arapahoe Warriors back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Wilcox-Hildreth took a 33-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of Arapahoe. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Wilcox-Hildreth has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Wilcox-Hildreth still got an impressive performance from Grayson Sheen, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Sheen pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Even though they lost, Wilcox-Hildreth were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Arapahoe found their leader in underclassman Kade Fisher, who scored 21 points along with nine rebounds and seven steals. That's the first time this season that Fisher pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Trenton Roskop, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Wilcox-Hildreth's defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4. As for Arapahoe, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilcox-Hildreth will be home for the holidays to greet Pleasanton on Saturday. Arapahoe won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Southwest at 7:15 p.m. on December 15th. Hopefully Southwest focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday.
