The Analy Tigers will face off against the St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Analy is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
On Friday, Analy didn't have quite enough to beat San Rafael and fell 6-4.

Sophia Pellini put in work while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up six earned runs off six hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Bella Jurek made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Maya Antonelli was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, St. Vincent de Paul took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Credo as St. Vincent de Paul made off with a 14-3 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Mustangs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Like Analy, St. Vincent de Paul also got a great game from a two-way player: Makayla Bignardi. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. Bignardi was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, St. Vincent de Paul got a massive performance out of Gracie Murphy, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Johana Stone, who scored three runs while going 1-for-3.
St. Vincent de Paul always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Credo only posted an OBP of .227.
Analy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for St. Vincent de Paul, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Analy couldn't quite finish off St. Vincent de Paul in their previous matchup back in February of 2022 and fell 4-2. Can Analy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
