Despite the loss, St. Luke's saw an underclassman step up: Ethan Bienaime scored 20 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Gavin Sommers, who scored 11 points.
Rye Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for St. Luke's, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
