After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Iola, Milano was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Richards Panthers with a sharp 11-0 win. Considering the Eagles have won six matchups by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Milano got a big performance out of Daniel Frei, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, Frei posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in February. Ty Magee also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Frei wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Milano kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for the Eagles: they were averaging 5.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 9.

Milano now has a winning record of 8-7-1. As for Richards, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4-1 record this season.

Milano will have a chance to go back-to-back against Richards: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
