 Juno Yu put in work no matter where she played. She  struck out nine batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and seven unearned) runs off   eight  hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks any time she's  pitched this season. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and one  run. That  triple marked the first that  she has  hit this season.
 In other batting news,  Elena Krauss made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-4 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and one  run. That  triple was  her first of the season.
As for California School for the Deaf, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record  this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.8 runs.
Like Head-Royce, California School for the Deaf also got a great game from a two-way player:  Julianna Hammons. On the mound, she  struck out 11 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   six  hits (and only one walk). Hammons was also solid in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in March.
 In other batting news,  Destiny Wallace was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.
As of now, neither Head-Royce nor California School for the Deaf have any future games scheduled.
